Flood Recovery Continues

The photos below show (top, center) what, before the March and April floods, was the food pantry of Mamaroneck Village's Community Action Project (CAP) Center; (middle, left) the recent river clean-up organized by Habitat for Humanity and (bottom, right) Habitat volunteers restoring the front yeard of 815 Howard Avenue, next door to the First Baptist Church.

(Anyone interested in volunteering in Habitat's ongoing reconstruction efforts can sign up at its command centers at 602 Mamaroneck Avenue, opposite Columbus Park and at the First Baptist Church at the corner of Howard and Hillside avenues.)
